The Psychiatry Department
The psychiatric unit is located at the OPD Annex Building. Room 1. We offer Psychiatric OPI) services to police personnel, their dependents, and the general public. We attend to admitted cases referred to the department by other specialists. The department is under the able leadership of C/Supt Nuro-Panin with a psychiatry nurse. The department works in collaboration with the clinical psychologist and other auxiliary mental health practitioners.

Scope of Work (Service Rendered)
- Psychiatry OPD for all mental health conditions
- Assessment and management of referred police personnel from the welfare directorate police.

- Liaison Psychiatry in the hospital
- Awareness creation and education of police personnel on mental health diseases
Operating Hours
- Monday -Friday 8am - 4pm
- Saturday Sundays - Only inpatient referrals
