The Herbal Medicine Department
The herbal medicine dept was established in 2012 in response to a policy by the MOH to interprate herbal medicine practice in public hospitals in Ghana. The unit cares for the needs up police personnel, their dependents and members of the general public who prefer herbal medicine.

Scope of Work (Service Rendered)
Consultation and treatments with approved recommended herbal medicine. Health promotion and counselling, advocacy on the safe and rational use of herbal medicine.
Operating Hours
- 8am-3pm (mon-fri)
- Saturdays (by appointment only)
