About the CSSD
Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) is a unit in the Police Hospital created to provide services that eliminate as well as reduce hospital-related infection through sterilization processes.

To provide sterilized materials from a central department where proper sterilization procedure are followed to minimized as well as eliminate hospital acquired infection.

Scope of Work (Service Rendered)
Personnel at the Unit carry out collection of medical items, decontamination, assembling, packing, sterilization, storing and distribution of sterile goods and equipment to units, departments and to patients as well.
