In the early hours of Monday, 11th August, 2025, marked a historic moment at the Ghana Police Hospital as we held the Sod Cutting Ceremony for the upcoming Police Hospital Ward Complex.
The event was graced by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Dr., members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), the Medical Director, COP Dr. Samuel Otu Nyarko and other Senior Police Officers and Inspectorates.
In his remarks, the IGP emphasized the importance of this facility, noting that it is designed to serve all police personnel; whether actively on duty, retired, or dependents. He also called on stakeholders and well-wishers to contribute towards the successful completion of this vital project.
With a six-month completion target, the Police Hospital Ward Complex will significantly enhance our healthcare capacity, improve service delivery, and provide a dignified space for medical care to those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting the nation.
Together, we can make this vision a reality.
