The Regional Police Clinic in collaboration with the Upper West Regional Hospital organized a free medical screening on the above conditions. The medical screening is in line with breast cancer awareness creation for the month of October. Officers from the security agencies and their dependents were targeted.
A total of one hundred (100) people comprising officers from Ghana police service, Ghana Immigration service, Ghana prison service, National fire service and civilians were screened.

Persons with abnormalities were referred to the Regional hospital for further management. Health education on the selected conditions was also given.
Seven (7) health professionals led by Dr. Thomas Moore a pathologist from the Regional hospital and eleven officers from the police clinic led by the Unit Commander conducted the exercise.
The medical team from the Regional hospital was commended for their continuous cooperation.
The exercise started at 0900HRS and ended successfully at 1500HRS.
