The Ghana Association of Radiologists successfully hosted their 12th Annual General and Scientific Meeting/Conference from May 29th to June 1st at Alisa Hotel. The event was held in collaboration with esteemed medical organizations, including the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ghana Academy of Neurosurgeons, Neurological Society of Ghana, and European Society of Neuroradiologists.

This year’s theme, “Harnessing the advances in Neuroradiology to Improve Patient Care,” brought together renowned radiologists, neurosurgeons and neuro Physicians from Ghana and West Africa, as well as the President of the European Society of Neuroradiologists.

The opening ceremony on Thursday was graced by the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, as the Special Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guests included DCOP Dr. (Med) Samuel Otu Nyarko, Medical Director of Police Hospital; Dr. Ebo Hammond, representative of the Director-General of Ghana Health Service; and Prof. Ernest Yorke, Vice President of the Ghana Medical Association.
